Look, most of us dislike masks, social distancing and sanitizing, but I do it all to fight the virus. I want others to stay healthy, but in addition many customers won’t come to my business, restaurants or shops unless there are safe practices. 2% Employee Pay Increase Inadequate

The proposed 2% merit pay state employee increase often doesn’t even cover increased rents or property taxes.The State is not broke. For example, internet sales tax money is put in a special fund, not included to replace lost sales taxes from “brick and mortar” businesses. I am proposing an additional temporary 2% increase to remain as long as the housing crisis continues. You may have other ideas too.
